BEDA #6: Bloqueio Criativo

PORTUGUÊS | ENGLISH

Ciao!

Ciao!
I am having a kind of art block and it started to piss me off. I like to consider myself an artist, even if I don't work with art or even if I still have a lot to improve my drawing and writting skills. I just feel like an artist, living in my little and colorful world, full of troublesome characters and small stars up in my own sky.
I use my drawings and my texts as a way to (try to) show how I feel and how I see the world. But that art block isn't letting me do this and I am feeling extremely frustrated. I can't draw my ocs like I want to nor be able to make my readers feel what I want them to feel while reading my texts.
That's frustrating, but every art block needs to come to an end and, soon, I will be inspired, I think. Or at least I hope. For the sake of this project.

BEDA #5: Como Não Chamar Alguém Pra Sair

Ciao!

Apertei o botão "Enviar" no último minuto, literalmente.

Vou voltar pra minha cama confortável e quentinha.

Ciao! Yesterday I almost wasn’t able to post on time. I literally pressed “send” on the last minute. Even if only my close friends read my blog, I worry about being able to complete de BEDA project successfully, because it’s a compromise I have assumed with Raula, with my blog and with the followers I have now and may have one day. I need to organize my routine, otherwise BEDA will end as soon as my university classes are back.
Well, as I promised, I am going to tell you about the funny thing that happened to me yesterday. I use various apps to chat with different people and, maybe, become friends with them. A few days ago, I met a girl that lives in Rio de Janeiro and has a beautiful and colorful hair. We share many common interests, but unfortunately, we are not able to go out because it’s not easy to go to Rio de Janeiro on a Tuesday afternoon, for example. Even if Rio is not that far from São Paulo, that kind of visit has to be planned in advance, otherwise it will be a huge disaster (aha, I knew Tourism Management would be useful for something). We were just chatting as always, when she suddenly asked me if I would be available on the beginning of September. I thought that maybe she was planning to come to São Paulo and I answered positively.
However, she invited me for a very unusual trip to another city so we could camp and do a walking of 21 kilometers.
Guys, can you imagine what kind of face I was making when I finished reading her text? I know it is an interesting trip and it must be lots of fun to go on that kind of adventure with your group of friends, but excluding all the other worrying reasons, the most important one was: 21 kilometers? Are you fucking with me? Because, in case you don’t know, I am the girl who gets tired while walks home. I am the girl who almost fainted when doing the exercising test (to check if my heart was ok and stuff). I am the girl who used to be member of groups like “Exercise? Does lifting my backpack counts”? There is no way I could possibly stop being a sedentary and walk 21 kilometers.
Of course I really want to see her one day, but I really hope to meet her in a shopping mall or a museum hahaha Oh, did I mention that I would need to carry my own tent and my own backpack with the necessary equipment while hoping that no quatis would attack my stuff? I feel exhausted just by having that mere thought.
Lesson of the day: Before going on an adventure, check if your friends are physically and financially prepared to go with you.
Boo-bye, I am going back to my warm and comfy bed now.

BEDA #2: Corre que é Treta!

PORTUGUÊS

Ciao!

Raula estava apenas me ajudar, e eu estava irritada e magoada com as coisas que ela estava me dizendo.

Ciao!

Today I am going to tell you about my brief (and almost disastrous) meeting with my best friend, Raula. It has been two months since I last saw her, and she contacted me all of sudden, asking me if I'd like to go out with her. Without hesitation, I obviously said yes, and we decided to meet up at the Trianon MASP subway station (I live in São Paulo, Brasil, in case you're curious). As always, we arrived at the station one hour after the scheduled time and I convinced her to go to Starbucks (I am addicted to their hot white chocolate). There, I treated her a hot chocolate as well and we spend our time chit chatting.
We started to disagree on some topics, specially the ones that had something to do with my mood and my desire to stay alive (depression and BPD got me). Now that I think about that situation, I can see that she was right. I do need to go out more often, meet new people and do things that I consider enjoyable and funny. But, at that moment, all I could feel was anger and I just wanted her to understand my point of view. BPD is something really recent in my life and not everybody knows that I have it, so it's really hard to understand and deal with everything that I feel.
Raula was just trying to help me and I was angry and frustrated with what she was saying. I told her about how my feeling were being a huge influence in my behaviour and the conversation became a cycle in which I told her my problems, while she tried to find solutions for them.
In the middle of the conversation, she invited me to create a blog and to start the BEDA project - and as you can see, I agreed. After all, writting is something that really relieves me and, if she was going to be serious about it, I was in too.
Our meeting was really brief, only a few hours before her classes started (Raula is studying Tourism Management, but she's been studying to be a teacher someday, which is awesome), and we started to walk. She had to go to her classes, and I planned to visit the nearest bookstore. I wanted to spend more time with her, but it was in vain. I was still feeling angry and frustrated, but I didn't know why anymore.
We kept walking in silence, without even looking to each other. And, suddenly, I stopped. I simply stopped walking. I stopped and I kept looking at her silhouette slowly dissapearing, not aware of what was happening. Tears started to come out, and my vision got blurry. I sit at the bus stop, wishing I didn't get out of my room that morning. As so as she noticed I was gone, she sent me a text, angry. We started to argue, but when her classes started, the messages stopped coming. I went to the bookstore and spent my money on a Belgian comic. Later, I regreted this, because I should be saving money instead of spending it with stuff I can't really buy now.
When I arrived home, I got locked in my room and I felt asleep. I had no dreams, I only let my feelings go away. The time was passing by, and I started thinking about how I was going to apologize. Fortunately, we are unable to stay mad at each other for a long time, and at night, we were okay once again. I hate having BPD, but at least I have stories to tell, thanks to her. By the way, I have the habit of giving genders to my problems (?) Both BPD and depression are females. At least in my point of view. It has always been like that.
Anyway, yesterday was an awful day, but I guess those problems always make our friendship stronger, somehow. They make us see how we care about each other and how we will always be honest with each other, even if it make us argue a lot.
And, above everything, it made me notice that she is never going to give up on me, no matter if I want that or not.

Thank you for not giving up, even when I already did.

x

P.S.: I am sorry if I sounded confusing while sharing this situation with you, but it usually happens when I have too much to say or write.
